Integrating Makeus' 'Dingo Friends' IP into the Story Blockchain Infrastructure to Build an On-Chain IP Management System
Pioneering a New Paradigm in Digital Content through AI-Driven, Fan-Participatory Content Creation

Story Protocol, a leading blockchain ecosystem for IP-based innovation, has entered into a strategic partnership with Makeus, Korea’s largest digital content studio, to co-develop an AI-powered, fan-participatory content production model.

Through the signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the two companies will integrate Makeus' popular IP, “Dingo Friends,” into the Story blockchain infrastructure. This partnership aims to create a new content production system where fans can directly participate, while also validating monetization models enhanced by AI technology. The collaboration is expected to mark a turning point in the evolution of the digital content industry.

Together, Story and Makeus plan to develop a new production workflow combining blockchain infrastructure with AI capabilities. The goal is to revolutionize content creation and distribution, build a fan-centered participatory digital ecosystem, and unlock new growth opportunities for the Dingo Friends IP.

Story Protocol provides a blockchain-based platform designed to tokenize, protect, share, and monetize IP in the AI era. Makeus operates around 50 YouTube and social media channels, with a total subscriber base of over 44.7 million, making it Korea’s largest digital content studio. The company leads the global digital content market through differentiated IP development and top-tier production capabilities, working with many of Korea’s top artists. In particular, its adorable and emotionally expressive animated series “Dingo Friends”, which launched in 2015, has garnered steady popularity among fans.
